Red – usually outside the household waste scheme: there is no nationally uniform waste stream assigned to the colour red. In practice it is mostly used for special fractions and commercial collections: as a clear identification colour in company waste separation, for material streams collected separately, or as a signal at a site where certain waste must explicitly not be put in. In schools, workshops and club premises too, a different colour makes orientation easier.
