SULO® MGB 80 liter trash can brown

SULO® MGB 80 litre wheelie bin in brown – the small food waste bin

Food waste is heavy, which is why a smaller volume is often the better choice in everyday use: a full 80-litre bin can still be moved comfortably, whereas 120 litres of kitchen waste quickly reaches the load limit. The HDPE of the Citybac® tolerates fruit acids and moisture and can be easily rinsed out after emptying.

What the Citybac® 80L offers:

• Safety and handling: Easy to manoeuvre and clean, corrosion-resistant metal components.
• Quality standard: Precision-made SULO quality with high durability, certified.
• Robust in all weather: Frost, heat and most chemicals cause no damage.
• Material choice: HDPE, 100% recyclable, 0% waste at end of life cycle.
• Integrated chip nest: For use in digital waste management.
• Optionally available: Personalisation, noise reduction and other options; standard lid or clip lid.

Brown – the usual colour for food waste: Brown containers are designated in many regions for organic waste: peelings and remains of fruit and vegetables, coffee grounds including the filter, tea bags, eggshells, small amounts of cooked food leftovers, as well as leaves, grass cuttings and wilted material from the garden. Plastics have no place here, including bags advertised as compostable – most processing plants sort them out. Newspaper at the bottom absorbs moisture, and a closed lid and a shady location keep odours in check. Whether brown or another colour is designated for food waste where you live is determined by the local authority and may vary locally.
