SULO® MGB 240 liter trash can blue

SULO® MGB 240 litre trash can in blue – waste paper collected clean and dry

Blue (RAL 5023) is the colour for paper collection, and 240 litres is exactly the format that holds the newspapers, catalogues and cardboard of a multi-family building or office until the next collection. The Citybac® 240L from SULO is a milestone in eco-friendly waste collection: a reduced weight of 2.7 kg per container, an 82% reduction in carbon consumption and an ECO design with optimised geometry ensure maximum stability and 20% higher loading capacity on truck deliveries. The closed lid keeps the contents dry – crucial, since soaked paper loses its recycling value.

What belongs in the blue bin: newspapers and magazines, flyers, writing and printing paper, books without plastic covers, and flattened cardboard. Coated papers, wallpaper offcuts, thermal-paper receipts, hygiene papers and beverage cartons should stay out. Flattening boxes before disposal noticeably saves volume. Whether your municipality actually organises paper collection via blue bins or uses a different colour is decided by the local waste management provider – the assignment is set at municipal level.
