Grey signals residual waste

In most collection areas, grey identifies residual waste: sweepings, hygiene items, vacuum cleaner bags and anything that cannot be recycled separately. As this fraction grows fastest, it is the most common use for this container size. The colour assignment is, however, set at municipal level and can vary by region – if in doubt, check the requirements of your local waste management provider.

Flat lid or domed lid?

The flat lid keeps the overall height low and makes empty containers stackable; domed-lid containers, on the other hand, gain extra capacity for loose waste through their curvature. The grey MGB 660 is the more compact four-wheel container for locations where a 1100-litre container would be too tall: with a depth of 77.5 cm, it fits into narrow bin enclosures and yard recesses. A container for multi-family buildings, businesses and municipalities – not for individual households.
