Grey as the residual waste colour

Grey generally denotes residual waste – hygiene articles, sweepings, soiled materials and anything that does not belong in recyclables collection. This container in particular is prone to mis-sorting in residential complexes with many households, which the small disposal opening helps to prevent. The colour assignment is set by your local authority and may vary by region.

Round lid, flat lid or lid-in-lid?

The classic round lid offers plenty of volume thanks to its dome shape and the most convenient access for bulky waste, while the flat lid is lower and stackable. This version combines the high-volume round lid with an additional disposal flap (DID): waste is deposited without opening the heavy main lid. This is easier on the back, keeps the container closed in windy conditions and limits bulky foreign material. The four-wheeled container is intended for multi-family housing, commercial premises and local authorities.
